I came across this picture of the Sunoco gas station next to 1165 Kingston Rd in Toronto from what appears to be a picture from the ’40s (or so). Although I am not positive that this is, in fact, the gas station, it appears to be. Take a close look and you will notice the words “Fallingbrook Service Station” above the front door, and what appears to be back edge of 1165 at the leftmost point in the picture. The building shape is also the same as that of the station that is there now.
